7 Canva Script Fonts to Use on Your Next Project
Canva has become one of the most prominent (and affordable) graphic design programs in the online business space.
With so many people creating templates, graphics, and even websites using Canva and Canva Pro, it’s important to be able to sort and identify fonts you want to use quickly without spending hours browsing through their font library. As a crafter and DIY-er, I’ve brought together some of my favorite Canva script fonts!
Also, if you’re looking for more Canva design ideas or Canva fonts, you can look through our full collection of Canva favorites here.
Alright, let’s dive into my favorite Canva script fonts you can use on your next project, whether it’s a graphic for your Instagram or a cut for your Cricut:

The Best Canva Script Fonts You Can Use for Free
Everyone has a personal preference for their design, and you may or may not like the same fonts I do, which is why I love to add a variety! The main thing these fonts have in common is that they are script fonts, but their weight, style, and flairs are all different.
I love to add little extras to help you determine if the font is right for you, like whether it might be too thin for cutting or hard to resize in your design.
I would also like to add that while this is full of script (or cursive) Canva fonts, I also have a collection of Farmhouse fonts on Canva that you might love!
Anyway, let’s get into my favorite Canva script fonts you can use for free:
#1. Rolling Pen Basic Two

If I had to pick one font as the most classic, traditional version of a script or cursive font, it would be the Rolling Pen Basic Two font on Canva. And yes, there is actually a one and a three version; they just didn’t make the cut. This would look gorgeous on wedding invitations but probably would be my first pick for a Cricut project because it’s so thin.
#2. Euphoria Script

It’s not quite the same as the show “Euphoria,” but it does give off some very creative and slightly lofty vibes. The Euphoria Script is a great option for Cricut cutter projects and calligraphy, as it has a thicker/heavier font weight.
#3. Eyesome Script

Eyesome is one of those fonts I always love to use. I’m not sure what it is about it, but I LOVE it. It’s also one of my favorite fonts to use for my Christmas projects and designs.
#4. Satisfy

This is like a vintage-modern version of a script font and I’m HERE for it. I love the Satisfy free font on Canva because of it’s heavyweight and smooth finish. It’s ideal for both graphics and for your DIY projects.
#5. Sulat Rizal

Sulat Rizal is actually a newer font on Canva. I thought I saw it all until I noticed this golden nugget sitting under the “cursive” suggestion section. Another thin font (so not ideal for cutting), but this is beautiful for invitations and paper design.
#6. Amsterdam One

I’m not 100% sold on the Amsterdam One script font, but I do believe it deserves some recognition. It’s a great medium font to use for your projects – not too fancy, not too thin, and with just the right amount of flair that most people are looking for in a script font.
#7. Meow Script

I did actually save the best for last this time! This is the Meow Script, and it’s probably my favorite script font on Canva right now! I just love how curvy it is and how the moderate weight makes it an easy choice for whatever project you have in mind: cutting, printing, or graphic design.
Other Script Fonts You Might Love…
Free fonts (especially on Canva) are great and all, but there will always be a soft spot in my heart for gorgeous fonts designed by others! And, if you’re looking for something a bit more unique or different, a custom or paid font option can give you that extra boost.
Plus, you can still use your custom fonts in Canva; you just have to upload the font to your brand kit!
